Sahin Voiceovers

Sahin is the language invented for the Unknown 9 storyworld. As the story architect, it was my job to manage the use of the language. One execution of it was the voiceovers heard in this early sequence of Unknown 9: Awakening.
The language was created by a professional linguist, and it fell to me to ensure that the oral presentation of would be consistent and compelling. I made some creative choices to shape the aural identity of the language, created written material which included IPA transcriptions for all spoken lines, and recorded all the lines in my own voice. I then provided all the voice actors with this material, and the results were exactly as envisioned.
